Hi, I'm Nick Kyparissas
and I design computers.
I am an FPGA maniac and a Digital Design Engineer at Riverlane. I am lucky to work on what I love in an exciting, research-driven environment, helping to make quantum computing useful, sooner.
My research interests lie in the areas of reconfigurable computing and special-purpose computer architectures. My PhD focused on near-storage FPGA accelerators designed to filter data for machine learning applications. I have also been fascinated by the theory of computation, unconventional computing and cellular automata.
I hold a Diploma (MEng) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Technical University of Crete, GR, and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Manchester, UK.
Thank you for visiting, please feel free to contact me anytime!
